With the advent of social media sites and citizen “journalists”, it seems as though there are more and more bits of information that we need to wade through in order to get news that contains accurate facts and figures. So, in today’s world, who do you look to for accurate, non-biased, non-political, fact-filled reports? Or, do you prefer to subscribe to content creators who think more like you do?

When I was a kid, I pretty much believed whatever the news anchor reported because I wasn’t aware of how political views and personal bias could distort and taint the news. As an adult, I don’t have a person or organization that I believe truly just reports facts and figures; however, I am open to suggestions. Walter Cronkite was one of a kind; however, I hope there are at least a few aspiring journalists out there that want to be like him.
